We have now entered the Best Kept Village Competition 2019, which will now be run by The Community Foundation. We will put the willing poster competition entries on here after judging has taken place, but in the mean time why not check out the fantastic entries from last year below!

BEST KEPT VILLAGE POSTER COMPETITION 2018
Each Year the Community Council of Staffordshire run a Best Kept Village poster competition to raise awareness to keep the village clean and tidy.

Richard Wakefield school children were invited to enter the two age categories for the competition, age 5-7 and 8-11. Children were required to do these in their own time. There was an amazing response with 60 entries. The posters were colourful and showed a real understanding of the ethos of keeping Tutbury looking clean and tidy. there were lots of very good drawings of the castle and the village. The standard was excellent a real credit to the school.

Tutbury Parish Council would like to congratulate all their efforts. The council are awarding one winner and two runner up prizes and these entries will be sent off to enter the competition and will represent Tutbury.
