Fly Tipping Ferrers Ave Playing Field

Published: January 29, 2024

An incident of fly tipping has occurred at the playing field at Ferrers Avenue. Significant vandalism has resulted in the newly installed fence becoming damaged.

Tutbury Parish Council has a duty as part of the lease with the Duchy of Lancaster to maintain the boundary of the playing field. A fence was erected to prevent exit onto Redhill Lane, due to the dangerous blind bend and no footpath.

Unfortunately the fence has been damaged to enable a large amount of litter to be dumped in that area.

Our Duke of Edinburgh volunteer Seth Duffill assisted the parish council to clear the rubbish. If anyone can provide any information to assist us in finding the people responsible Please contact the clerk.
