North Staffs Community Rail Partnership Update
If you are a frequent rail passenger you maybe interested in the voluntary work that has been done in our local stations.
- The rail partnership are delighted to see the four peak time rail services restored to Tutbury & Hatton Station on Mondays to Fridays as of 10 December. They will continue to support EMR in their aspiration to reinstate the full service Monday to Saturday.
- Their Bee Friendly Cub Scouts project has been shortlisted for a Community Rail Award to be announced in Cardiff in March. It was a real pleasure to work with the 1st Tutbury and Hatton Cub Scout group earlier this year and to welcome them to the station to learn about bees and rail safety.
- In addition, the hard working Tutbury and Hatton station volunteers have been shortlisted for a Silver level award in the It’s Your Station category of the Community Rail Awards.
